Graham Chennells is a born and bred Zululander, Zulu linguist, farmer, businessman, hotelier,  brewer of great beer (originator of Zulu Blonde beer), paratrooper, former Town Councillor and Mayor of Eshowe, Duzi Canoe singles winner, Cape to Rio yachtsman, Natal rugby trialist, Natal track walking champion and general adventurer. For the last 12 years he has spent over 3 months a year backpacking round the world, solo with 7 kg pack!!

His great interest in meditation and Happiness has seen him spending time in Ashrams in India as well as various Buddhist meditation retreats. His greatest challenge was doing the world renowned 10 day Vipassana meditation course.

Nattaya Taptanee

Nattaya was born in Ban Khe and owns a small rice farm and some general farm land with Pawpaw’s, Litchi’s, Banana’s, lemons other vegetables and a small fish farm.

Graham and Nattaya met 12 years ago while Graham was on his travels. They have been together since then and are married. Nattaya has a daughter who recently got married. A very close family….mother and three older brothers. They both spend time in Thailand and South Africa and have decided on this venture which Graham had planned on a ten month sojourn in Thailand many years ago.
